Terms and conditions
1 – Arrivals and departures
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, taking possession of the gîtes is scheduled from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival. A late arrival with provision of a key box with code is possible on request.
The departure time is usually fixed at 10:30 am at the latest but can possibly be relaxed if the gîtes are not re-rented the same evening; it will therefore be to be agreed together.
2 – Use of the premises
The rental contract is established for a specific number of people. To ensure that we have the necessary stock of linen and for insurance reasons, the acceptance of additional person(s) on arrival or during the stay must be submitted to us as soon as possible for OK.
The premises are rented furnished with kitchen utensils, crockery, bed and bath linen, ironing equipment. Washing machine and dryer are freely accessible in the laundry room.
Any damaged or defective equipment must be reported.
Smoking is prohibited inside the buildings.
In accordance with official recommendations and for the sake of energy sobriety, the temperature is set at 19° C in winter.
In the event of behavior likely to disturb the tranquility of the neighborhood excessively, we reserve the right to interrupt the stay, without any compensation being claimed.
3 – Animals
Animals are accepted without supplement. However, they are not allowed in the swimming pool. It is the responsibility of their owners to pick up any droppings.
4 – Cleaning
Covid disinfection before your arrival and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the price, within reasonable limits: the dishes must be done, the accommodation must be returned in correct condition, and the trash cans must be taken out and put in dumpsters in the car park (yellow-lid containers for plastic, paper, cardboard and aluminum;green lidded containers for household rubbish – please separate the glass, as the refuse collection service refuses to collect our rubbish bins if they contain glass bottles).
5 – Deposit and payment
Depending on your booking method and the dates of your stay, you may be asked for a deposit of 30% of the total price, payable by check or by bank transfer payable to EBO (IBAN: FR76 1027 8023 6200 0202 1600 126 ).
The balance will be paid on site. We accept all methods of payment: checks, holiday vouchers, cash, bank cards.
The Community of Communes of Haut-Béarn has instituted a tourist tax throughout its territory. This tax is included in the rental price.
6 – Cancellation and interruption of stay
In the event of cancellation of the contract by the tenant, the deposit paid will be retained by the owner.
In the event of cancellation occurring from 1 day to 14 days before the date of arrival, or in the event of early termination of the stay by the lessee, the rental price remains acquired.
You are free to take out cancellation insurance to cover this risk.
In the event of cancellation of the contract by the owner, the latter will refund all the sums which have been paid to him in advance.
